This motion graphic is inspired by Gustav Holst's "The Planets, Op. 32 VI. Uranus - The Magician." Holst was greatly influenced by Theosophy, and I used this theme as the main focus of my composition. My aim was to visualise the spiritual realm and the fourth dimension. To achieve this, I abstracted the physical forms of nature, altering dimensions to transform how objects are perceived. As Wassily Kandinsky said, “The realism of surface appearances is misleading.”
